  • This listing features our beautiful rooted Portulaca molokiniensis. It is an upright growing succulent that grows basal branches to form a small shrub up to 12 inches (30 cm) tall. The stems are round and corky, bearing round grey-green succulent leaves that are arranged neatly in 4 distinct rows towards the branch tips.

Portulaca molokiniensis produces clusters of tiny lemon yellow cup-shaped flowers at the ends of leafless stems that rise above the foliage.

All of the plants will be shipped bare root.
  • Sand, Cinder. Porous and well-drained.

Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch, then let drain completely. Avoid letting water sit for too long in the soil to prevent rot and fungal diseases.

Fragile plants such as bearpaw, baby toe, etc. may break or loose a few of their leaves during transport. Please contact us for replacements if your plants are severely damaged. We'll try our best to accommodate you. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grown in, depending on availability or time of year.
  • Provide porous soil with adequate drainage, pots with drainage hole are recommended. Bright, filtered light and ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Never let your succulents sit in water. Do NOT water on the leaves. If you water from beneath by letting the plant sit in a saucer of water, make sure to pour off any excess water after a few minutes. The hotter it is outside, the faster your soil will dry out, so you’ll need to water more often if you live in a hot area. Water with caution in winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended periods; protect from frost to prevent scarring.

My succulents

I ordered 3 plants and was very pleased with the delivery time frame and the overall condition of the plants. The email with instructions on how to revive the succulents after shipping was very helpful.

Looks Great

I love that this guy came looking kind of like a tree. He fits perfectly in my llama planter. Couldn't wait to get him in the dirt.

Nice healthy plant

The plant was packaged nicely in bubble wrap and arrived ready to flower, with some seeds from previous flowers.
