Hedera helix Glacier, or English Ivy Glacier, is a vigorous, evergreen, trailing plant usually seen covering walls, slopes, grounds and flower bed borders. This easy-to-grow plant has eye-catching triangular, creamy white-marked, lush green leaves and fast-growing vines that root as they climb.
Ivy has dainty yet strong and sturdy trailing vines, making it one of the most resilient evergreen ground covers.
This is one of the most popular indoor plants with an air-purifying and toxin-removing effect.
Ivy plants are very tolerating they can thrive in various lighting conditions, but they grow best under bright to moderate indirect/filtered sunlight. If grown outdoors, Glacier Ivy prefers partial shade.
Glacier Ivy likes moist soil, but waterlogged soil can
cause root rot, so you should water your Ivy only when the soil is slightly dry to the touch. Yellowing leaves indicate that you have been overwatering this plant. Don't forget to drain all excess water after each watering and check the soil's moisture once per week to decide on your watering schedule.
Ivy isn't picky when it comes to soi preferences. Generally, any well-draining soil would do.
This plant thrives in temperatures of 50°F-85°F, but it grows best in cool rooms(50°F-70°F). It does not tolerate extreme heat and high temperature (over 85°F).
This plant should be fertilized once during the growing season (spring/summer) with diluted houseplant fertilizer.
