1. Sempervivum Spring Beauty
Sempervivum Spring Beauty (Hen and Chicks) is a hardy evergreen perennial succulent with light green leaves, producing masses of small offsets during the summer.
Each plant grows for several years before flowering. The colour of the flowers is reddish, yellowish, pinkish, whitish.
The plants need plenty of outdoor sunlight to show their best colors and maintain a tight rosette form.
Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch, then let drain completely. Reduce watering to a minimum during winter.
2. Sedum Fire Storm
Sedum Adolphii, also known as Golden Sedum, is a tender succulent that grows up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It is a groundcover that forms rosettes of green-yellow leaves, up to 1.4 inches (3.5 cm) long. Sedum Adolphii develops orange or red hue when it receives a great amount of sunlight. As the rosettes mature, they grow new leaves at the center and shed the older leaves on the soil. These old leaves can root and grow into new plants. Sedum Adolphii produces small cream-colored flower heads in spring.
Clay Soil, Sandy Soil, Loamy Soil, Drought/Dry Soil. Water deeply when soil is dry to the touch, then let drain completely. Full Sun.
3. Sedum Green Jelly Bean
Sedum Pachyphyllum, also known as Green Jelly Bean Sedum, is a cute succulent with short chubby silvery green leaves that have red tips when grown in full sun. It has a shrubbing habit and can grow bushes up to 1 foot tall. It may become leggy with age. The leaves and stems can be easily propagated. In summer, it produces clusters of bright yellow flowers.
Full Sun. Water deeply when soil is dry to the touch, then let drain completely. Soil that is well aerated is best suited.
4. Aloe Tiger Tooth
Tiger Tooth Aloe - Aloe Juvenna is a small succulent native to Kenya that grows upright stem up to 12 inches (30 cm) tall and starts branching from the base of the stem. The plant sports bright green leaves which turn red or brown when received plenty of sunlight. These leaves have toothy margins (hence the name 'Tiger Tooth Aloe') and creamy white spots all over. As the plant grows, the leaves are stacked on top of each other creating a unique structure. It produces salmon pink or orange red flowers with green tips from an inflorescence of up to 10 inches (25 cm).
Full sun to Light shade. Porous and well-drained potting mix. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch, then let drain completely. Reduce watering to a minimum in winter.
Aloe Juvenna prefers warm temperatures from 70 to 80 °F (21 to 27 °C), but can survive temperatures as low as 40 °F (4.5 °C). Protect from frost.
Feed with a cactus fertilizer in the summer only.
