We believe doing well is doing good. That is why giving back has been a part of our business since Day 1. Below are a few charities we're currently supporting or supported in the past few years.
Yagi Typhoon Emergency Appeal
On September 7, Super Typhoon Yagi, the strongest storm in the past 30 years, severely impacting at least 26 provinces in Viet Nam, with the Northern region being the hardest hit. The storm, with wind speeds exceeding 120 km/h, destroyed homes, crops and livelihoods, causing severe flooding and landslides, particularly in the mountainous and midland provinces of Northern Viet Nam, greatly impacting the lives of children, families, and particularly vulnerable communities. To promptly share the burdens of the affected people, the Vietnam Red Cross has urgently deployed emergency relief activities and called for community support to help people overcome difficulties. Immediately after the typhoon, the Vietnam Red Cross has initiated initial emergency relief, supporting over 5,700 households, equivalent to nearly 23,000 people affected by Typhoon Yagi and subsequent floods in 10 provinces and cities.
