Healthy Plant Quality Guarantee
We take great pride in shipping only healthy, beautiful succulents and houseplants. To make sure your plants arrive in the best possible condition:

Track your package so you know the day it lands.

Open the box immediately on arrival — plants should not sit in a hot or freezing porch.

Message us right away if you are not satisfied with what you received.
Fragile succulents such as Bear Paw and Baby Toes can break or drop a few leaves in transit. If your plants arrive severely damaged, contact our support team with photos and we will arrange a replacement. We always do our best to make it right.
What to Expect When Your Plants Arrive
Plant size may vary
Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot size listed, depending on availability and the time of year. Succulents are living products, so no two are identical.
Winter dormancy is normal
Sedums such as Cherry Tart and Lime Zinger go dormant in winter. They wilt, drop leaves, and can look dead. This is a natural survival mechanism that helps succulents get through the cold and gear up for warmer days ahead — not a sign of an unhealthy plant.
A few loose leaves are normal
Leaves that fall off in the box are common and harmless. Many of them can even be propagated into brand new plants.

What should I do if my succulent arrives damaged?
Open your package as soon as it arrives, take clear photos of the damaged plant, and email support@succulentsbox.com with your order number. We will arrange a replacement for severely damaged plants.
How long does the Green Thumb Guarantee last?
Six months from the date of your order. Within that window you can claim a $15 gift card per plant, up to $50 per order.
My succulent looks like it is dying in winter. Is something wrong?
Sedums and some other succulents go dormant in winter and look wilted or dead. This is normal and temporary. If you are unsure, send us a photo and we will tell you what you are looking at.
Do Succulents Box gift cards expire?
Yes. Gift cards expire one (1) year from the date they are created.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes. Our boxes and kraft shredded paper filler are both 100% recyclable and biodegradable.
