COVID-19 RESPONSE: A MESSAGE FROM OUR CO-FOUNDERS

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate everyone who is on the front line working to contain this outbreak. Please know that we are vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation around the clock and have precautions in place to minimize the impact to thousands of succulent lovers we serve.

What We Have Done Already

We have implemented enhanced cleaning procedures in our warehouse and have reduced interactions between the warehouse staff and the rest of the organization. At the same time, we have closed our corporate office and have instructed our staff to work remotely. We are sorting through the flow and doing our best to minimize interruptions, while making sure that our employees are properly trained and able to respond to the new demands placed on them.

What Changed

We have reduced the shipping cost to make online shopping friendlier for customers who have to work/ study from home or are practicing self-quarantine. Any order $75 or more (excluding subscription orders) is qualified for Free Shipping effective Tuesday, March 17. We will still always exchange or replace damaged plants for you. We hope our beautiful succulents could help make social distancing less stressful and more enjoyable. Starting Tuesday, March 17, we will also change our charity to support the fight against COVID-19 by the National Foundation For The Centers For Disease Control & Prevention. 2% of any purchase on our website will automatically goes to CDC Foundation to support their front line efforts. We'll send out more information about our charity later this week.

What Next

We have prepared a number of contingency plans that account for inevitable interruptions to our supply chain and packing operation. At this time, we have plenty of inventory across our greenhouses in California which should ease the concerns of our subscribers as well as regular customers. We are trying our best to educate our warehouse staff on the protection measures against the virus. We will also continue to create fun and resourceful blogs/ videos on succulents, which we hope could brighten up your day during this difficult time.

What We Can Do Together

We are a small company and must follow the local guidelines, while putting the health of our families first. Some packages may be delayed, some emails or calls will take longer to answer. We may bundle multiple packages together to get them to you faster, which sometimes means that tracking numbers are not always perfect. Please remember, we are equally worried, frustrated and anxious about our business and our families as you are. We care for you and your family sincerely, so please be kind to each other and to us too.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your order, please don’t hesitate to contact us at  support@succulentsbox.com, we will respond to you as soon as we can. Thank you for being a part of the Succulents Box family, and as any family, we will get through this together.

Yours,
Duc and Ha
Co-Founders of Succulents Box
