Tiger Tooth Aloe Juvenna

  •  Tiger Tooth Aloe - Aloe Juvenna is a small succulent native to Kenya that grows upright stem up to 12 inches (30 cm) tall and starts branching from the base of the stem.

The plant sports bright green leaves which turn red or brown when received plenty of sunlight. These leaves have toothy margins (hence the name 'Tiger Tooth Aloe') and creamy white spots all over. As the plant grows, the leaves are stacked on top of each other creating a unique structure.

It produces salmon pink or orange red flowers with green tips from an inflorescence of up to 10 inches (25 cm).

All of the plants will be shipped bare root.
  •  Full sun to Light shade.

     Porous and well-drained potting mix.

Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch, then let drain completely. Reduce watering to a minimum in winter.

Aloe Juvenna prefers warm temperatures from 70 to 80 °F (21 to 27 °C), but can survive temperatures as low as 40 °F (4.5 °C). Protect from frost.

Feed with a cactus fertilizer in the summer only.
  • USDA Hardiness Zone 9a to 11b: from 20 °F (−6.7 °C) to 50 °F (10 °C).
  • Your plant will be meticulously bubblewrapped and shipped in a sturdy box. Most 2" plants are shipped in their original plastic pot with soil. Fragile and big 4" plants are shipped bareroot to ensure their safety. When opening your package, some soil may be loose in the box. Plant orders are shipped within 3-5 days depending on availability of the plant. We ship our plants Monday through Friday, all twelve months of the year! If you need your order urgently, please message us so we can upgrade your shipping (additional cost applied). Here is our blog about the shipping process and packaging. We do not ship outside of the continental United States.

*** All of our packages are sterilized before leaving the door.
  • We only ship out beautiful, healthy plants! Please track your package and open it immediately upon arrival. If you receive your package and are not satisfied, please message us immediately. Fragile plants such as bearpaw, baby toe, etc. may break or loose a few of their leaves during transport. Please contact us for replacements if your plants are severely damaged. We'll try our best to accommodate you. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grown in, depending on availability or time of year.
  • Provide porous soil with adequate drainage, pots with drainage hole are recommended. Bright, filtered light and ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Never let your succulents sit in water. Do NOT water on the leaves. If you water from beneath by letting the plant sit in a saucer of water, make sure to pour off any excess water after a few minutes. The hotter it is outside, the faster your soil will dry out, so you’ll need to water more often if you live in a hot area. Water with caution in winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended periods; protect from frost to prevent scarring.

Great addition! Highly recommend

My first succulent from the Aloe family was a great experience! It came very well packaged and it was such a healthy plant. Very similar to the pictures as well. I am also so surprised it arrived in great condition throughout its delivery process. I will definitely be looking to buy more in the future!

The little guy is a cutie, and he didn't bite me when I opened the box. It's very healthy, he came very quickly, and he's in a happy peaceful spot now. Lots of water and fertilizer, he'll have to settle for vegetarian/water diet at our house.
