ZONE 11
Hardiness zone 11 covers a very small area including Hawaii, the cape of Florida. This typical tropical climate feature a mellow winter with minimum temperature falls between 40 to 50 degree F and a long, exhausting summer. Cold hardiness is not required for plants in zone 11, since there is no frost day. However, the excessive heat could be a real burden to any kind of plant.

Most genus of succulents adapts environmental conditions in zone 11 pretty well since they share many similarities to their natural habitat.
ZONE 12
You can not find climate like zone 12 in continental US. This hardiness zone only exists on Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The minimum temperature for winter in zone 12 is as high as 60 degree F. The extreme heat, high humidity might have an negative effect on your succulents, regardless of its genus. Although succulents are generally drought-tolerant, they might get sun damage after long hours under the sun. 
WHAT TYPES OF SUCCULENT THRIVE IN ZONE 12?
There is limited choice of succulents that can stand the high heat in zone 12. Despite being known for high resistance to heat, most succulents do not prefer all-day high intensity of sunlight. Cactus, Crassula, String of heart and some Echeveria are some genus that are able to perform well in such condition like zone 12.
