Our June box featuring Crassula Mesembryanthemoides Tenelli, Haworthia Zebra, Window Haworthia, Panda Plant and Tricolor.
1. Crassula Mesembryanthemoides Tenelli
Crassula Mesembryanthemoides Tenelli features fuzzy, grey-green, lance-shaped succulent leaves growing on an upright, mounding shrub. Displays small clusters of red flowers.
All of the plants may be shipped bare root.
Full Sun or Partial Shade.
Use well-draining cactus and succulent soil with 50% to 70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.
Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch, then let drain completely. Avoid letting water sit for too long in the soil to prevent rot and fungal diseases.
You can propagate Crassula Mesembryanthemoides by division, offsets or leaf cuttings. The easiest way is to propagate from a single leaf: put the leaf in a succulent or cacti mix, then cover until it sprouts.
2. Haworthia Zebra
Haworthia Fasciata 'Zebra Haworthia" is one of the most popular Haworthia species. Its leaves are thin, and dark green with horizontal white ridges that resemble zebra striping.
Zebra Haworthia is often grown as an indoor plant because of its attractive appearance and low maintenance. It produces offsets freely, and the offsets can be propagated easily.

Bright light, but not direct sunlight.
Use a cactus mix or very fast-draining potting soil mixed with sand.
the Zebra Plant flowers are small tubular white or pink flowers growing from a very thin kind of stem. It rarely blooms though and the flowers only last for a few days.
Water only when soil feels dry to the touch and then drain completely. Never let the plant sit in water.
3. Window Haworthia Succulent
Haworthia cymbiformis, also known as Cathedral Window Haworthia or Window Haworthia, is a drought-tolerant evergreen succulent with rosettes up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall and 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter.
Its pale green leaves are fleshy, bulbous, and tender with dark stripes running across the length of each leaf and turning translucent at the tip.
This species has flowers that are white or light pink with brown-green veins growing from 8 inches (20 cm) tall inflorescence.
Window Haworthia is a popular houseplant because it is super easy to grow and low maintenance. Whether you grow it indoors or outdoors, the growing conditions for this plant remain the same.
All of the plants may be shipped bare root.
Bright, indirect light, partial shade.
Warm weather in the spring and fall are optimal for Window Haworthia. It can survive cool winter but will not do well under 40°F (4°C).
Porous, well-drained potting mix with sand, pumice or decomposed granite.
Water only when soil is dry to the touch. Let drain completely after each watering.
Feed with an all-purpose fertilizer once at the beginning of the growing season, diluted to 50% of the recommended dose.
Use offsets from the parent plant to grow new plants.
4. Panda Plant Kalanchoe
Kalanchoe Tomentosa, often called Panda Plant, is a succulent originated from Madagascar. Similar to its cousin, Kalanchoe Chocolate Soldier, Panda Plant has soft fuzzy long oval shaped leaves with deep brown margin. Its leaves are an attractive shade of white silvery green.
In nature, Panda Plant can grow up to several feet, but if grown indoors it typically only reaches up to 2 feet in height.
In spring and summer, it produces white fuzzy, bell-shaped flowers.
Panda Plant is toxic to pets but NOT toxic to humans. Remember to keep your Panda Plant away from curious pets and children. Seek help immediately if you notice your pet chew on this plant.

Porous soil with adequate drainage.
It grows well in Full Sun to Partial Shade. If grown indoors, put it in a spot with bright light and ample airflow.

5. Tricolor
Tillandsia Melanocrater Tricolor is a delicate air plant with a brown base. The plant changes color depending on how much sun exposure it receives: it turns red or purple with a lot of bright sunlight, and bright to dark green with less sunlight.
All of the plants may be shipped bare root.
Bright indirect sunlight.
No soil is needed. Sand, sea glass, rocks, pebbles & bark chip can be used instead of soil.
Mist the plant once a week. T. melanocrater tricolor will also benefit from a soaking bath every now and then. Give it a little shake off afterwards to eliminate excess water and allow to dry within 6-8 hours.
