The Seedling Xerographica is a striking young specimen of Tillandsia xerographica, widely celebrated as the King of Air Plants, displaying its signature soft, curling silver-gray leaves that spiral outward from a tight central rosette. Even at seedling size it adds sculptural drama and a cool, silvery texture to any space, and because it is a slow grower, this compact stage can be enjoyed for years before the plant begins its gradual expansion. As a true epiphyte it requires no soil whatsoever, absorbing moisture and nutrients directly through its leaf surfaces, and it is notably more tolerant of dry indoor air than most other air plants, making it an excellent choice for offices and homes alike.
The plant arrives nestled in a small, hand-dipped black dish crafted from high-quality kiln-fired terracotta and finished in a rich black glaze, measuring 3 inches in diameter and 1.5 inches deep, with the Xerographica adding approximately 2 inches of height to the overall display.
Place your Xerographica in bright, indirect light near a window, rotating it occasionally for even exposure, and water by misting 2 to 3 times per week or by soaking briefly in room-temperature water every 1 to 2 weeks. Always shake off excess water and allow the plant to dry fully upside down before returning it to its dish to prevent crown rot.

Provide porous soil with adequate drainage, pots with drainage hole are recommended. Bright, filtered
light and ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Never let your succulents sit in water. Do
NOT water on the leaves. If you water from beneath by letting the plant sit in a saucer of water, make sure to pour
off any excess water after a few minutes.
The hotter it is outside, the faster your soil will dry out, so you’ll need to water more often if you live in a hot
area. Water with caution in winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended
periods; protect from frost to prevent scarring.
