When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.

Sempervivum Mahogany is an evergreen perennial succulent that forms mats of beautiful multicolored rosettes. Its leaves are fleshy, obovate, grey-green to yellow-green with vibrant purple tips.
Sempervivum Mahogany has leafy stems that produce clusters of star-shaped, light pink flowers in summer.
Plants may be shipped bare root.
Gritty soil, Sandy.
Full Sun or Partial shade.
Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch, then let drain completely. Reduce watering to a minimum during winter. 
Feed with a controlled-release fertilizer at the beginning of the growing season. 
Sempervivum Mahogany can easily be propagated by separating and replanting offsets in planting medium.
