Sedum Hispanicum Succulent

  •  Sedum hispanicum, also known as Blue Carpet or Spanish Stonecrop, is a hardy perennial succulent that forms a tight cushion of tiny blue-gray needle-like leaves. Sedum hispanicum grows slowly and only reaches 2 inches tall and 8 inches wide at maturity. Sedum hispanicum can turn deep purple in cold winter. It is perfect as a ground cover to plant between stepping-stones.

This sedum is fragile and more sensitive to its environment due to its tiny size. Therefore it may be a bit etiolated or lose some color when being in a closed dark box for transit. Simply place it in bright light and it will adjust itself quickly.
  •  Clay Soil, Sandy Soil, Loamy Soil, Drought/Dry Soil.

     Full Sun or Partial Shade.

Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch, then let drain completely.

  • We only ship out beautiful, healthy plants! Please track your package and open it immediately upon arrival. If you receive your package and are not satisfied, please message us immediately. Fragile plants such as bearpaw, baby toe, etc. may break or loose a few of their leaves during transport. Please contact us for replacements if your plants are severely damaged. We'll try our best to accommodate you. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grown in, depending on availability or time of year.
  • Provide porous soil with adequate drainage, pots with drainage hole are recommended. Bright, filtered light and ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Never let your succulents sit in water. Do NOT water on the leaves. If you water from beneath by letting the plant sit in a saucer of water, make sure to pour off any excess water after a few minutes. The hotter it is outside, the faster your soil will dry out, so you’ll need to water more often if you live in a hot area. Water with caution in winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended periods; protect from frost to prevent scarring.

Not as full but still recommended!

I ordered three plants and this one was very lovely. The only issue I had was that the little pot wasn't nearly this full. It seemed a bit wimpy but non the less overall healthy. So I'm still giving it a decent amount of stars as a rating. I'm hoping it will fill it's new pot soon. But came in healthy and the colors are beautiful. Also, I thought the plant would be a little bigger but it's actually quite small. I still would recommend buying this any way!
