Tillandsia Pruinosa is a beautiful species of air plant native to Florida, Central America, and South America. It has rough white trichomes all over the plant, giving it a fuzzy velvety appearance while proctecting it from the sun and facilitating the moisture absorbing process. Tillandsia Pruinosa displays purple or blue tubular flowers on a short pink stalk.
Light: Bright indirect sunlight. Soil: No soil is needed. Sand, sea glass, rocks, pebbles & bark chip can be used instead of soil. Water: Frequent misting several times a week is necessary. Tillandsia Pruinosa will also benefit from a soaking bath every week. Give it a little shake off afterwards to make sure water doesn't collect in the bottom leaves to prevent rot.
