Philodendron 'Golden Crocodile' (Philodendron sp.) is a striking tropical aroid from the Araceae family, native to the rainforests of South America where it thrives in warm, humid understory conditions. This rare philodendron has become one of the most coveted collector finds in the rare tropical houseplant world, and it is not hard to see why.
The foliage of Philodendron 'Golden Crocodile' is genuinely show-stopping, featuring deeply serrated, elongated leaves with a bold crocodile texture that sets it apart from almost any other philodendron. New leaves emerge in vivid golden yellow before maturing to a rich green, giving the plant a two-toned, living display at almost any stage of growth. The upright, architectural form makes Philodendron 'Golden Crocodile' a sculptural statement piece that suits both bold bohemian interiors and modern, minimalist spaces.
As a foliage-first philodendron, the real spectacle of Philodendron 'Golden Crocodile' is its leaves rather than its blooms, and reliable flowering details for this cultivar are not well documented in cultivation. What collectors consistently rave about instead is how the plant's golden serrated leaf philodendron qualities make it an instant focal point in any indoor plant collection.

Provide porous soil with adequate drainage, pots with drainage hole are recommended. Bright, filtered
light and ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Never let your succulents sit in water. Do
NOT water on the leaves. If you water from beneath by letting the plant sit in a saucer of water, make sure to pour
off any excess water after a few minutes.
The hotter it is outside, the faster your soil will dry out, so you’ll need to water more often if you live in a hot
area. Water with caution in winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended
periods; protect from frost to prevent scarring.
