Each leaf on this variegated philodendron is deeply lobed with multi-fingered, oak-like segments that set it apart from most other philodendrons. The variegation runs in irregular patches and splashes of cream, white, and pale yellow against a deep green background, and no two leaves emerge with the same pattern. As a climbing houseplant, Beauty Variegated produces long aerial roots and climbs readily up a moss pole or trellis.
Mature specimens can produce a spathe-and-spadix inflorescence typical of aroids, though indoor plants rarely reach the size required to bloom. Instead, the chimeric variegation is where most of the visible interest lies. Leaves on Beauty Variegated can shift in their variegation output from node to node, with some producing heavily splashed sections and others coming in nearly all-green, so growth is always unpredictable.
Move it outside in summer to a sheltered spot with filtered light, and bring it back in before temperatures drop.
