Phalaenopsis produces smooth, green leaves that emerge directly from the main stem in an upright growth habit. The flower spikes arch from leaf joints, carrying buds that open sequentially over weeks. Unlike many orchids with water-storing pseudobulbs, it lacks these structures, relying instead on regular moisture at the roots. The arching form and glossy foliage create a refined presence on any shelf or table.
Blooms last a month or longer when conditions are right, with flowers opening in succession along the spike. The purple petals showcase natural variation and patterning unique to each flower. Phalaenopsis typically flowers during cooler months when day and night temperatures differ, though plants in stable indoor conditions can bloom at other times. The flowers are non-fragrant.

When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging as soon as possible and review the care instructions included with your order. Water based on your plant’s needs, making sure not to overwater.
Houseplants may need a short adjustment period after arrival. Give your plant time to acclimate to its new space before placing it with other plants. You can gently clean the leaves if needed, and wait to fertilize until it has settled in. Always check soil moisture instead of watering on a fixed schedule.
