    •   Mums, also called Garden Mums, is a flowering perennial from East Asia that belongs to the daisy family. Chrysanthemum × morifolium has been cultivated for centuries and is one of the most widely grown ornamental plants in temperate regions. It produces abundant autumn blooms.

        The plant develops bushy, compact growth with small, feathery, deeply lobed leaves that are dark green and finely textured. Foliage is dense and creates a mounded form that spreads outward, and the leaves grow along upright stems that benefit from regular rotation to develop even, full growth throughout.

        It flowers in late summer through fall, producing daisy-like blooms in shades of yellow, pink, red, orange, white, and burgundy. The plant requires a temperature drop during night hours to set blooms reliably, and flowers last several weeks once they fully open. Chrysanthemum × morifolium has a mild, herbaceous fragrance.
