It belongs to the Gesneriaceae family and grows as an epiphytic plant, naturally draping from tree branches in humid, filtered-light environments.

        The plant develops long, trailing stems lined with small, oval leaves that are forest green with white variegation along the edges and centers. The foliage grows densely along the stems, creating a full, cascading appearance when mature. Each leaf is about 1–2 inches long and has a soft texture.
