'Olivia' forms a tight, symmetrical rosette of plump, spoon-shaped leaves in soft olive green that often blush with pink edges under bright light. The leaves have a smooth, slightly waxy texture and a gentle layered structure. Over time, it produces offsets freely, spreading into a fuller display across its pot.
When given a cool nighttime temperature drop, 'Olivia' may produce star-shaped blooms on slender stalks during its flowering season. Its foliage intensifies in color with increased sun exposure, shifting toward deeper pink tones. It is non-toxic to cats and dogs.
Move it outside in summer to a bright spot with some afternoon shade protection. You can leave it up to ten days without water. Shield it from heavy rain, as water sitting in the rosette causes rot. You can propagate it easily from leaf cuttings or by separating the offsets that naturally cluster around the mother rosette.
Graptoveria Olivia grows well in bright indirect light to full sun, needing at least four to six hours of light daily.
Water it every 10 to 14 days in summer and once every three to four weeks in winter, letting soil dry completely between waterings.
'Olivia' does best in a well-draining cactus and succulent mix blended with perlite for extra drainage.
It prefers temperatures between 60 and 80°F and should be protected from frost below 25°F.
It is hardy in USDA zones 9 through 11. It grows outdoors year-round in Florida, California, Texas, Arizona, Hawaii, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, Nevada, southern Oregon, Alabama, and Mississippi. In other regions, it thrives as a container plant moved outside for summer and brought back indoors before the first frost.

Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
