Graptoveria Moonglow is a hybrid succulent in the Crassulaceae family, born from a cross between Graptopetalum and Echeveria. It inherits drought tolerance from its Mexican and southwestern US native parent genera, forming tight rosettes that cluster naturally over time.

'Moonglow' develops symmetrical rosettes with plump, spoon-shaped leaves in soft blue-green and silvery lavender tones. The leaves have a smooth, powdery coating called farina that gives it a luminous appearance in bright light. Single rosettes reach 4 to 6 inches in diameter and fit well in 2-inch and 4-inch pots.

When nighttime temperatures drop in autumn or winter, it sends up tall bloom stalks tipped with small, star-shaped flowers in yellow or coral. You can leave it up to ten days without water.

Place it on a sunny windowsill, a patio in summer, or in a small dish garden with other succulents. It is non-toxic to cats and dogs. As it matures, it gradually produces offsets around the base, building into a fuller display.
Graptoveria Moonglow grows well in bright indirect light, partial sun, or full sun with gradual acclimation to prevent leaf scorch.

Water it every 10 to 14 days during the growing season and every 3 to 4 weeks in winter, letting the soil dry completely between waterings.

'Moonglow' does best in a well-draining cactus and succulent mix amended with extra perlite for improved drainage and aeration.

It prefers temperatures between 60 and 80°F and should be brought indoors before frost, as it is not frost hardy.

It grows outdoors year-round in California, Arizona, Texas, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Mississippi. It also grows well along mild coastal regions of Oregon and Washington, parts of New Mexico, and warmer pockets of North Carolina and Virginia.
