  • Provide porous soil with adequate drainage, pots with drainage hole are recommended. Bright, filtered light and ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Never let your succulents sit in water. Do NOT water on the leaves. If you water from beneath by letting the plant sit in a saucer of water, make sure to pour off any excess water after a few minutes. The hotter it is outside, the faster your soil will dry out, so you’ll need to water more often if you live in a hot area. Water with caution in winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended periods; protect from frost to prevent scarring.

Big and Beautiful!

This is my 9th succulent and by now I am used to the plant that arrives not looking *exactly* like the picture. These are living things, not mass produced decorative lamps after all. Sometimes they are smaller or less full, sometimes the color is not as vibrant, sometimes a long shipping journey has caused some trauma to leaves that need removing. Sometimes you are pleasantly surprised by the opposite! In all cases the plants just need some time in the sun and some good soil to come into their full glory in a matter of days. This plant. I can't even. Way bigger than I expected, full, firm, a magnificent color - even better than the image above! It was in its pot and looking amazing in a minute! I wish I could give more than five stars to this weird and wonderful creature! So very thrilled to have it. Thank you Succulents Box!

I had ordered 9 different succulents this time around and I can't tell the difference between this one and echeveria subsessilis. All the plants look great , but depending on what stage in their development, they don't all look like the pictures on the website. I received a list of the plants I ordered but the names aren't on each individual wrapped plant. That might help. All the plants are doing great.
