'Blue Pearl' forms tight, symmetrical rosettes of plump, pointed leaves in soft blue-gray with subtle lavender and pearl-toned highlights that shift with light and temperature changes. The leaves wear a powdery farina coating that gives the plant its signature frosted appearance. Over time, it slowly offsets into a multi-rosette clustering display, staying compact at roughly 2 to 4 inches across per rosette. 
A nighttime temperature drop in late autumn or early spring can trigger blooming in it, though specific flower details for this cultivar remain limited. You can leave it up to ten days without water. It is cat and dog friendly, with no toxicity concerns in households with pets. 
Move it outside in summer to a bright, sheltered spot, protecting it from heavy rain and bringing it inside before temperatures drop in autumn. It propagates easily from offsets or individual leaves placed on dry, well-draining soil. 
Graptoveria Blue Pearl grows well in bright indirect light to partial sun, positioned a few feet back from a south-facing window to avoid scorching. 
Water it every 10 to 14 days during the growing season, letting the soil dry completely between waterings and pulling back to monthly in winter. 
'Blue Pearl' does best in a fast-draining cactus and succulent mix blended with extra perlite at a roughly 2:1 ratio. 
It prefers temperatures between 65 and 80°F and must be protected from frost, as it is not frost hardy below about 25°F. 
It is hardy in USDA zones 9 to 11, tolerating brief dips to around 25°F but performing best with frost protection. It grows outdoors year-round in Florida, California, Texas, Arizona, Hawaii, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Nevada. It also grows well along the mild Oregon coast and in sheltered microclimates of New Mexico, Arkansas, and parts of North Carolina where zone 9 pockets allow borderline growing. Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
