The leaves of 'Red Siam' are broad, lance-shaped, and glossy, growing on short upright stems from a central base. Each leaf is deep green along the edges and shifts to vivid red and pink toward the center, with the color intensity varying by light exposure. The plant typically reaches 18 to 24 inches tall indoors, with leaves that can span 6 to 8 inches across.

'Red Siam' is grown primarily for its foliage rather than its flowers, and mature plants can occasionally produce small, spathe-type blooms similar to other aroids, though these are modest and not fragrant.
