The leaves grow long and lance-shaped, with deep green upper surfaces and a contrasting purple-burgundy underside. Each leaf has gently undulating edges that give it a wavy, sculptural profile. Sword can reach several feet in height indoors, with leaves extending well past a foot in length on mature plants.
Confirmed flower details for this species are limited, but it does produce the typical aroid spathe-and-spadix flower structure when mature and well-cared-for indoors. You can gently clean the leaves if needed, and wait to fertilize until it has settled in. Always check soil moisture instead of watering on a fixed schedule.
