  •   Aeonium 'Jolly Clusters' is a branching rosette succulent from the Crassulaceae family, native to the Canary Islands and Mediterranean coastal regions where it grows on rocky hillsides and cliffs. It produces dense clusters of flat-topped rosettes on upright, branching stems, with each plant forming a naturally tiered structure straight from the pot.

The fleshy leaves are bright green, smooth, and spatula-shaped, arranged in tight symmetrical spirals that give each rosette a geometric quality. As it matures and branches freely, the clustered form becomes increasingly full and sculptural. You can leave it up to ten days without water. Rotating the pot a quarter turn every week or two keeps growth even on all sides.

Late autumn and early spring bring the best chance for blooms when nighttime temperatures drop noticeably. Like most aeoniums, individual rosettes are monocarpic and flower once before fading, but the surrounding rosettes in the cluster carry on beautifully, so the overall plant continues to grow and branch.

Move it outside to a bright spot in summer, and it can stay out through autumn in mild climates. Cover it from heavy rain to prevent waterlogged soil, and keep it away from AC and heater vents. Aeonium 'Jolly Clusters' is non-toxic to cats and dogs. Snap or cut a healthy rosette stem, let the cut end dry for a day or two, then plant it in slightly moist well-draining soil for easy propagation.

  •   Aeonium 'Jolly Clusters' grows well in bright indirect light to partial or full sun, ideally near an east or west-facing window.

Water it every 10-14 days during the active growing season in fall through spring, reducing to once a month or less during summer dormancy.

Aeonium 'Jolly Clusters' does best in a fast-draining succulent and cactus mix blended with coarse perlite for extra drainage.

It prefers temperatures between 65-75°F and should be protected from frost below 25°F.

Aeonium 'Jolly Clusters' is a moderate grower that benefits from a balanced liquid fertilizer applied once in spring and once in early autumn.

It is hardy in USDA zones 9-11 and tolerates brief dips to around 25°F but not sustained frost. It grows outdoors year-round in California, Arizona, Texas, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, and Nevada, as well as along the milder coastal stretches of Oregon and Washington. In New Mexico, Arkansas, and coastal North Carolina near the edge of zone 9, it succeeds with frost protection during cold snaps.
  • Q: How often should I water Aeonium 'Jolly Clusters'?
A: Every 10-14 days during the growing season in fall through spring, letting the soil dry completely between waterings. Pull back to once a month or less during summer dormancy.

Q: Is it safe around pets?
A: Aeonium 'Jolly Clusters' is non-toxic and safe for cats and dogs.

Q: Can Aeonium 'Jolly Clusters' go outside in summer?
A: Move it to a bright outdoor spot for the season and it can stay out through autumn in mild climates. Just cover it from heavy rain and bring it inside before any frost threat.

Q: How do I propagate this plant?
A: Aeonium 'Jolly Clusters' roots readily from stem cuttings. Snap or cut a healthy rosette stem, let the cut end dry for a day or two, then plant it in slightly moist well-draining soil.

Q: Why does Aeonium 'Jolly Clusters' look uneven or lopsided?
A: It naturally reaches toward its light source. Rotate the pot a quarter turn every week or two to encourage balanced growth on all sides.

Q: Will this plant flower indoors?
A: Aeonium 'Jolly Clusters' typically needs a noticeable drop in nighttime temperatures to trigger blooming, so plants kept outdoors in late autumn or early spring have the best chance of producing flowers.

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
