  • Adromischus trigynus, more commonly known as Calico Hearts, is a small succulent that can grow up to 4-6 inches (10-15 cm). Calico Hearts has alternate convex leaves of about 1.5 inches (3.5 cm), accented with dark purple spots. It blooms small unflashy flowers in late spring. Most Calico Hearts plants are sold under the name Adromischus maculatus, but this species is different from A. trigynus in leaf shapes and sizes.
  • Sun exposure: Full sun
    Soil: Porous and well-drained potting mix
    Water: Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch, then let drain completely. Reduce watering to a minimum in the winter.
    Fertilizer: Feed the plant once with a balanced fertilizer diluted to 25% strength during the growing season from May to October.
  • USDA Hardiness Zone 10-11
    Frost Tolerance: Hardy to 30°F (-1°C)
    Minimum Average Temperature: 50°F (10°C)
