  •   White Diamond Sedum Pachyclados is a low-growing succulent perennial in the Crassulaceae family, native to the rocky, mountainous regions of Afghanistan and surrounding areas. It evolved to grow in lean soils with minimal moisture, making it a frost-hardy, drought-tolerant ground cover. It is a compact plant for containers and gardens.

Sedum 'White Diamond' forms tight, jewel-like rosettes of small, fleshy leaves in a silvery-green to blue-green tone. The leaves are rounded and slightly cupped, creating a neat, compact appearance that clusters and clumps over time.

It produces white star-shaped flowers in summer, appearing in small but plentiful clusters across the rosettes. A slight drop in nighttime temperatures encourages more prolific blooming, so moving it outdoors in late summer or autumn coaxes out a fuller floral display.

It grows well in a sunny windowsill, on a wind-exposed balcony, or planted in the garden for summer and beyond. It tolerates drafty indoor spaces and dry heated air, and can stay outdoors well into autumn. You can leave it up to ten days without water. This plant is pet-friendly and grows well in 2" or 4" pots, rock gardens, or mixed with other sedums in container arrangements.

  •   White Diamond Sedum Pachyclados grows well in bright indirect light, partial sun, or full sun, though intense south-facing windows may cause leaf scorch in peak summer.

Water it thoroughly every 10-14 days in summer, reducing to once every 3-4 weeks in winter when growth slows.

Sedum 'White Diamond' does best in a well-draining succulent or cactus mix blended with perlite or gritty sand to prevent root rot.

It handles temperatures from around 20°F to 80°F, showing strong frost tolerance for a compact sedum.

Sedum 'White Diamond' is a slow to moderate grower that needs only light, balanced fertilizer once in spring to stay healthy and compact.

It is hardy in USDA zones 5 through 9, tolerating frost down to approximately -20°F at the lower end of that range. It grows outdoors year-round across Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. It grows well in Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana, as well as in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida, Arizona, New Mexico, and much of California.
  • Q: How often should I water White Diamond Sedum Pachyclados?
A: During the growing season, allow the soil to dry out fully between waterings. In winter, reduce watering frequency to prevent rot from sitting moisture.

    Q: Is it pet-friendly?
A: White Diamond Sedum Pachyclados is non-toxic and safe for cats and dogs, so you can display it freely without concern.

Q: How big does Sedum 'White Diamond' get?
A: It typically reaches 2-4 inches tall while spreading slowly outward in a clumping, clustering habit. It fits well in small pots and rock gardens.

Q: Can it survive outdoors in cold climates?
A: Sedum 'White Diamond' tolerates temperatures down to -20°F and stays outdoors through autumn and light freezes without issue across most of the country.

Q: Does Sedum 'White Diamond' propagate easily?
A: Individual rosette cuttings and offsets root readily in dry, gritty succulent mix after callusing for a day or two.

Q: What window placement works best indoors?
A: South-facing windows with afternoon shade or east-facing windows allow Sedum 'White Diamond' to color up without risk of summer scorch. Rotate the pot every couple of weeks for even rosette development.

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
