  •   Sedum Lime Zinger Succulent is a succulent belonging to the Sedum genus in the Crassulaceae family. Native to rocky, well-drained habitats across the Northern Hemisphere, this genus has adapted to grow in tough conditions, and this cultivar brings that same resilience both indoors and out.

It grows in a tidy, upright habit with plump, spoon-shaped leaves arranged in neat rosettes. The leaves are lime-green with rosy-pink to red margins that deepen with sun exposure and seasonal temperature swings. Compact yet bold, it stays tidy even in tight spaces on a windowsill, shelf, or patio container.

Sedum 'Lime Zinger' produces small, star-shaped blooms in warm tones when exposed to a nighttime temperature drop in autumn. Leaving it outdoors through the cooler autumn months naturally triggers that flowering cycle.

Move it outside for summer, then bring it back indoors before hard frost. It tolerates dry heated indoor air and drafty windowsills without trouble. You can leave it up to ten days without water. The leaves will wilt slightly when dry. It is pet-friendly and safe for cats and dogs.

  •   Sedum Lime Zinger Succulent grows well in bright indirect light but tolerates some direct sun, though south-facing windows may cause leaf scorching.

Water it every 10-14 days in summer, pulling back to once every 3-4 weeks in winter when soil dries out completely between waterings.

Sedum 'Lime Zinger' grows well in a fast-draining cactus and succulent mix blended with coarse perlite or grit for ideal drainage.

It prefers temperatures between 60-75°F and tolerates light frost, making it cold-hardy across a wide range of regions.

Sedum 'Lime Zinger' grows at a moderate pace and benefits from a light balanced fertilizer once in spring and once in early summer.

It is hardy in USDA zones 4 through 9, tolerating winter temperatures as low as around -30°F in the coldest zones. It grows outdoors year-round in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Florida, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and California.
  • Q: Is Sedum Lime Zinger Succulent safe for cats and dogs?
A: It is non-toxic and safe for both cats and dogs.

Q: Can this plant handle being left alone while I travel?
A: Sedum Lime Zinger Succulent can go up to ten days without water.

Q: How much light does Sedum 'Lime Zinger' need indoors?

Q: How big does Sedum 'Lime Zinger' get?

Q: Can I grow this plant outdoors year-round?

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
