  •   Crassula Undulatifolia, also called Ruffle Jade, is a succulent in the Crassulaceae family native to the rocky, arid regions of South Africa. It arrives as a healthy 4" starter plant and brings form to windowsills, shelves, and tabletop displays.

The plant's undulating, rippled leaves stack upright along firm stems. The foliage is forest green with softly ruffled margins that catch light and give it the signature ripple jade appearance. Its compact, upright growth form makes it suitable for confined spaces where structure and personality matter.

Small star-shaped flowers in pale white to cream tones appear in late winter or early spring when the plant experiences a cool nighttime temperature drop. Flowering is infrequent indoors but creates a contrast against the deep green foliage when it occurs.

Move it outside in summer or onto a sheltered patio during warm months. It tolerates dry heated air indoors but should stay away from direct AC or heater vents. The sap causes skin and paw irritation in cats and dogs, so place it on a high shelf away from pets and small children. You can leave it up to ten days without water.

  •   Ruffle Jade Crassula - Crassula undulatifolia grows well in bright indirect light and may scorch in intense south-facing windows.

Water it every 10 to 14 days, allowing soil to dry completely between waterings.

Crassula Undulatifolia does best in a well-draining cactus and succulent mix blended with coarse perlite.

It prefers temperatures between 60 and 80°F and should be protected from frost below 32°F.

Crassula Undulatifolia is a slow grower that benefits from diluted balanced fertilizer once monthly during spring and summer.

It is hardy in USDA zones 9 through 11, tolerating brief dips to 25 to 30°F before needing frost protection. It grows outdoors in California, Arizona, Texas, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Mississippi, as well as mild coastal stretches of Oregon and Washington.
  • Q: How often should I water Ruffle Jade Crassula - Crassula undulatifolia?
A: Every 10 to 14 days, letting soil dry completely between waterings. It wilts slightly when thirsty.

Q: What light does it need indoors?
A: Ruffle Jade Crassula - Crassula undulatifolia grows best in bright indirect light and should be rotated regularly for even growth. Distance from a south-facing window prevents leaf scorch.

Q: Is Crassula Undulatifolia safe around pets and children?
A: No. The sap causes skin and paw irritation in cats and dogs. Keep it on a high shelf, well away from both pets and small children.

Q: Can it survive without water while I travel?
A: Crassula Undulatifolia handles up to 10 days alone without watering. Just ensure it sits in a well-lit spot before you leave.

Q: Does Ruffle Jade grow quickly?
A: It is a slow grower, which suits small spaces and those who value unhurried, steady development over time.

Q: Can this succulent go outside during summer?
A: Ruffle Jade makes an excellent outdoor and patio plant during warm months and can remain outside into autumn in mild climates. Always provide cover from heavy rain and bring it in before frost arrives.

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
