The plant forms tight, symmetrical rosettes of broad, fleshy leaves in soft green with a slightly waxy texture. Its upright growth style keeps the specimen compact, and those paddle-shaped leaves store water, reaching about 4 inches in mature plants. The foliage maintains a full appearance even in dry conditions.
It produces small blooms on upright stalks and, like many alpine succulents, benefits from cooler night temperatures to encourage flowering. The plant tolerates dry air indoors.
Move it outside in summer and into autumn as temperatures cool. You can leave it on a bright windowsill, a balcony, or shift it outdoors to enjoy seasonal changes. Rosularia Platyphylla is non-toxic to cats and dogs. Compared to common succulents like Echeveria, this species remains rare.
