Graptoveria Bashful

10 reviews   |
  •  Graptoveria Bashful is a sun loving succulent with stemless, clump-forming rosettes up to 3 inches (7.5 cm) in diameter, of thick, chubby and minty green leaves. It turns a bright, translucent pink from direct sunlight and cool temperatures. If growns in the shade, it will lose that coloration and fade to its original green.

The flowers are pink and appear on long arching stems.

All of the plants will be shipped bare root.
  •  Full sun.

     Gritty, Porous and Well-Drained.

Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch, then let drain completely. Avoid letting water sit for too long in the soil to prevent rot and fungal diseases. Reduce watering to a minimum in the winter.

Feed once with a weak fertilizer at the beginning of the growing season (Spring or Summer).

You can propagate Graptoveria ‘Debbie' by seeds, leaf cuttings or offsets.
  • USDA Hardeness Zone 10a to 11b: from 30 °F (-1.1 °C) to 50 °F (+10 °C).

Fragile and big 4" plants are shipped bareroot to ensure their safety. When opening your package, some soil may be loose in the box. Plant orders are shipped within 3-5 days depending on availability of the plant. We ship our plants Monday through Friday, all twelve months of the year! If you need your order urgently, please message us so we can upgrade your shipping (additional cost applied). Here is our blog about the shipping process and packaging. We do not ship outside of the continental United States.

*** All of our packages are sterilized before leaving the door.
  • We only ship out beautiful, healthy plants! Please track your package and open it immediately upon arrival. If you receive your package and are not satisfied, please message us immediately. Fragile plants such as bearpaw, baby toe, etc. may break or loose a few of their leaves during transport. Please contact us for replacements if your plants are severely damaged. We'll try our best to accommodate you. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grown in, depending on availability or time of year.
  • Provide porous soil with adequate drainage, pots with drainage hole are recommended. Bright, filtered light and ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Never let your succulents sit in water. Do NOT water on the leaves. If you water from beneath by letting the plant sit in a saucer of water, make sure to pour off any excess water after a few minutes. The hotter it is outside, the faster your soil will dry out, so you’ll need to water more often if you live in a hot area. Water with caution in winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended periods; protect from frost to prevent scarring.

Graptoveria Bashful

I love this plant but have to admit I am a little disappointed with mine. I realize it is a fragile plant, I have received 3 other fragile plants from Succulents Box which arrived in much better condition. Probably 1/3 or more of it's leaves had fallen off, some of which were rotted or water logged. The remaining plant looks good though. I put it in pot along with the new baby plant that had fallen off. I picked out the good leaves that had fallen off and put them in soil. All that being said, I am still pleased. I realize it's a fragile plant and the remaining plant is healthy and beautiful.
