  •   Syngonium 'Confetti' is a tropical aroid from the rainforests of Central and South America, where it climbs trees in warm, humid conditions. This arrowhead vine has gained a devoted following among houseplant collectors for its speckled foliage and straightforward care requirements.

The leaves are arrowhead-shaped and splashed with irregular pink and white speckles across a soft green base, creating a confetti-dusted appearance. Each leaf varies in its pink variegation, so no two are identical. New growth often emerges with deeper pink tones before settling into the classic speckled pattern. It starts with an upright, compact habit and gradually becomes trailing as it matures.

Syngonium Confetti is grown almost entirely for its pink-speckled foliage rather than flowers. The plant naturally humidifies the air around it while filtering formaldehyde and other airborne toxins from indoor spaces.

Place it in a hanging basket, on a high shelf, or near a kitchen where humidity naturally stays higher. Rotate it regularly for even growth, and keep it away from air conditioning and heater vents. It scorches in harsh south-facing light. The compact size makes it suitable for collectors and beginners.

  •   Syngonium 'Confetti' grows well in bright indirect light and scorches in direct south-facing windows.

Water it when the top inch of soil dries out, roughly every 7-10 days, and reduce frequency in winter.

Syngonium Confetti does best in a well-draining aroid mix of peat or coco coir, perlite, and a small amount of bark.

It prefers temperatures between 60-85°F and should never be exposed to frost or cold below 50°F.

Syngonium Confetti is a fast-growing houseplant that benefits from balanced liquid fertilizer applied monthly during spring and summer.

It is hardy in USDA zones 10-12, where temperatures stay above 30-35°F year-round. It grows outdoors in southern Florida, coastal and southern California, southern Texas, Hawaii, and parts of Arizona and Louisiana. It can also grow outdoors in sheltered spots in Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Nevada's warmest valleys, though container growing with seasonal moves indoors is recommended anywhere frost is possible.
  • Q: How often should I water Syngonium 'Confetti'?
A: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Spring and summer watering typically occurs every 7-10 days, while cooler months require less frequent watering.

Q: Is this plant safe for pets and children?
A: Syngonium 'Confetti' contains compounds that can irritate skin and cause mouth discomfort in cats, dogs, and children, so keep it on a high shelf out of reach.

Q: Can Syngonium Confetti grow in low light?
A: It can grow under office LEDs if natural light is limited, though it grows best in bright indirect light.

Q: How do I propagate this plant?
A: Syngonium Confetti roots easily from stem cuttings taken just below a node and placed in water or moist sphagnum moss until roots develop. Spring and summer are the best seasons to propagate.

    Q: Is Syngonium Confetti rare?
A: It is becoming more available as popularity grows, though it remains sought after by collectors for its distinctive pink speckled foliage.

Q: Can this plant grow in a terrarium?
A: Syngonium Confetti does well in the high humidity a closed or semi-closed terrarium provides, as long as airflow is adequate to prevent rot and it has room to trail.

    🌿 For Houseplants
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging as soon as possible and review the care instructions included with your order. Water based on your plant’s needs, making sure not to overwater.
Houseplants may need a short adjustment period after arrival. Give your plant time to acclimate to its new space before placing it with other plants. You can gently clean the leaves if needed, and wait to fertilize until it has settled in. Always check soil moisture instead of watering on a fixed schedule.
