Native to rocky limestone outcrops and coastal cliffs across Corsica and Sardinia in the Mediterranean, it evolved to grow in lean, dry conditions with excellent drainage. It adapts well to both indoor and outdoor growing in USDA zones 4 through 9, bringing old-world Mediterranean character to modern spaces.

        Tiny, plump leaves form tight bead-like rosettes in forest green that can shift toward blue-grey and pink under stress conditions. The foliage is densely packed and covered in a fine, powdery coating that gives it a soft, frosted appearance.
