    •   Aeonium Aureum, also called Green Mountain Rose, is a rare rosette succulent from the Aeonium genus native to the Canary Islands, where it grows on rocky hillsides and volcanic slopes. Once classified under Greenovia aurea, it belongs to a collector class of succulents with uncommon availability and distinctive form.

        The plant forms tight, chalice-shaped rosettes of pale apple green leaves that curl inward during dry or warm periods, resembling a closed rose bud. The leaves are smooth, spoon-shaped, and layered with remarkable symmetry, creating the signature mountain rose silhouette.

        Aeonium Aureum needs a consistent drop in nighttime temperatures to trigger blooming, with cooler evenings in late winter or early spring offering the best conditions for flowering. Move it outdoors in autumn or keep it near a cool window as the seasons change to encourage this natural cycle and support its cool-season growth period.
