  •   Echeveria Glory is a rosette succulent in the Crassulaceae family that traces its roots to the semi-arid regions of Mexico and Central America. This drought tolerant succulent evolved in well-drained soils under bright sun, traits that make it equally at home on a sunny windowsill or garden bed.

'Glory' forms tight, symmetrical rosettes with fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves that layer outward in a spiral pattern. The foliage carries soft pastel green tones that shift toward warm peachy or pinkish blush at the tips when it receives plenty of light. Over time, it clusters by producing offsets around the base, gradually building into a full, dense clump.

This succulent sends up slender arching stems topped with small bell-shaped flowers in coral, orange, or pink during spring and summer. A slight drop in nighttime temperatures in late winter can help trigger flowering, so a cool windowsill or brief outdoor time in early spring encourages blooms. The flowers attract pollinators and add seasonal color to the plant.

Move it outside in summer and it can stay into autumn in mild climates, though protection from heavy rain is essential since standing water in the rosette leads to rot. You can leave it up to ten days without water. 'Glory' is pet safe and non-toxic to cats and dogs, making it a practical choice for households with animals. Propagation is simple: gently remove the offsets forming around the base and pot them in fresh succulent mix.

  •   Echeveria Glory grows well in bright indirect light to full sun, ideally four to six hours of direct sun daily, though south-facing windows may scorch the leaves in peak summer heat.

Water it deeply every ten to fourteen days in summer, allowing the soil to dry completely between waterings, and reduce to once a month in winter.

'Glory' does best in a gritty, fast-draining succulent and cactus mix blended with extra perlite or coarse sand to prevent root rot.

It prefers temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit and should be brought indoors before temperatures drop near freezing.

'Glory' is a slow to moderate grower that benefits from a light, balanced succulent fertilizer applied once in spring and once in early summer.

It is hardy in USDA zones 9 through 11, tolerating minimum temperatures down to around 25 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit with brief cold snaps only. It grows outdoors year-round across much of California, Florida, Hawaii, Arizona, and Texas, as well as Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. Milder coastal pockets of Oregon, Nevada, and parts of New Mexico also fall within range.
  • Q: How often should I water Echeveria Glory?
A: Every ten to fourteen days during the growing season, letting the soil dry out completely between waterings. In winter, once a month is usually enough.

Q: Is this plant safe for cats and dogs?
A: Echeveria Glory is non-toxic and safe for both cats and dogs, making it suitable for pet households.

Q: How much light does 'Glory' need?
A: A sunny east or west-facing windowsill works best, with at least four hours of direct light daily. If leaves start to pale or stretch, move it closer to the window.

Q: How big does it get?
A: 'Glory' typically grows rosettes two to four inches across, gradually clustering wider as it produces offsets, so it stays compact for small pots and dish gardens.

    Q: Can 'Glory' be propagated?
A: The easiest way is to gently remove the offsets that form around the base and pot them in fresh succulent mix. Leaf propagation is also possible but slower.

Q: Can this plant survive outdoors year-round?
A: In zones 9-11, 'Glory' thrives outside in summer and can linger into autumn in mild climates, but needs to move indoors before frost threatens.

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
