    •   Sempervivum 'North Leigh' is a cold hardy succulent from the houseleek family, native to mountainous regions of Europe. It belongs to the hens and chicks group, producing tight rosette colonies that spread naturally over time.

        'North Leigh' forms symmetrical rosettes with thick, fleshy leaves in blue-green tones that develop reddish-purple tips when grown in bright light. Each rosette typically reaches 2 to 3 inches across, with numerous offsets gradually creating dense, carpet-like colonies. The pointed leaves show color contrast throughout the rosette structure.

        It produces small star-shaped pink flowers on tall stalks during summer months. The parent rosette dies after blooming but leaves behind many healthy offsets to continue the colony. 'North Leigh' handles balcony wind and rain well, though it needs cover from excessive moisture during dormant periods.
