It grows as a slow-spreading, drought-tolerant alpine plant that requires minimal intervention once established.

        Hepworth Hybrid forms tight rosettes with thick, fleshy leaves that shift color through the seasons, developing reddish tips in bright light. The plant clusters by producing multiple offsets around the mother rosette, gradually creating dense mats of symmetrical rosettes that spread across soil over time.

        Under the right conditions, it may produce tall flower spikes, though blooming typically requires cooler night temperatures to trigger. The plant is completely non-toxic and safe for cats and dogs.
