    •   Sempervivum 'Bronze Pastel' is a hardy succulent belonging to the houseleeks family, also called hens and chicks for its clustering rosette growth habit. It originates from the mountainous regions of Europe, where it naturally grows in rocky crevices and alpine conditions.

        Bronze Pastel forms tight, symmetrical rosettes with fleshy, pointed leaves in bronze and pastel pink hues throughout the seasons. Each mature rosette reaches 3 to 4 inches across, with thick leaves arranged in perfect geometric patterns. The bronze coloration deepens in cooler weather, and it produces numerous offsets that cluster around the parent plant to form dense mounds.

        Bronze Pastel excels as a groundcover succulent that handles balcony wind and rain with ease. The leaves show slight wilting when thirsty, providing a clear visual indicator for watering needs.

        Bronze Pastel is an excellent rock garden plant and grows well in outdoor containers where its cold hardy nature is evident. Move it outside for summer and leave it outside through autumn; it survives frost down to -20°F. You can leave it up to ten days without water.
