The Cypress 'Lemon', formally known as 'Goldcrest Wilma', is a narrow, column-shaped cultivar of the Monterey Cypress (Cupressus macrocarpa), prized for its lime-green to chartreuse foliage.
The foliage is highly aromatic, releasing a strong, refreshing lemon scent when brushed or crushed. The vibrant, gold-tipped foliage also provides year-round color.
Indoors, it is slow-growing and manageable, but outdoors in ideal conditions, it can grow into a large tree. As a potted plant, it typically reaches 3-5 feet.

Bright Light is Essential. Place it in the brightest possible spot, ideally receiving several hours of direct morning sunlight (south or west window) to maintain its compact shape and intense golden color. Insufficient light leads to pale color and sparse growth.
Keep the Soil Consistently Moist. This conifer does not like to dry out completely. Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels slightly dry, especially in warmer conditions.
Well-Draining, Slightly Acidic Soil.
It prefers temperatures between 50°F and 70°F (10°C to 21°C).
