        The leaves are plump and lance-shaped, glowing in golden yellow with fiery orange-red edges when given plenty of bright light. They have a waxy, smooth texture and shift toward deeper forest green tones in lower light. The narrow, upright growth habit keeps the rosettes tidy and structured.

        It produces small, star-shaped white flowers on upright stalks, typically blooming in late winter to early spring. Keep in mind it does produce pollen, so it may not be the best choice for anyone with sensitivities to allergens.
