    •   Sedum Sunsparkler 'Firecracker' is a compact, cold-hardy succulent from the Crassulaceae family, bred from Sedum species native to rocky, well-drained habitats across the Northern Hemisphere. This perennial forms tight clumping mounds and thrives as a drought-tolerant ground cover for gardeners and collectors seeking a plant that performs season after season.

        The foliage consists of small, fleshy leaves in burgundy-red that deepen further in cooler temperatures, with a plump, bead-like texture. It maintains its saturated color throughout the growing season without fading, serving as a focal point in rock gardens and container plantings year-round.

        Late summer into early autumn brings clusters of small, star-shaped pink to rose-red flowers that attract pollinators. The blooms do produce pollen, so those with seasonal allergies may want to position it away from frequent gathering spots.
