'Tolimanensis' forms a dense rosette of thick, spoon-shaped leaves coated in a fine layer of powdery farina that gives the plant a blue-grey appearance. The leaf tips can develop subtle pinkish or lavender tones under stronger light. The farina coating is fragile, and direct handling leaves permanent fingerprints on the leaf surface.
Flower information for this cultivar is limited, but like many echeverias, it can produce bloom stalks when exposed to cooler nighttime temperatures during late winter or early spring. The rosette itself remains compact and upright year-round. This plant is pet-friendly.
Move it outside for summer in a spot with morning sun and afternoon shade, but keep it sheltered from rain to protect the farina and prevent root rot. It is sensitive to direct air from air conditioners and heaters, so position it away from vents. You can leave it up to ten days without water. Rotate it every few weeks so all sides receive even light exposure.
Echeveria haagai 'Tolimanensis' grows well in bright indirect light to partial direct sun, such as an east or west-facing window.
Water it every 10 to 14 days during the growing season, letting the soil dry completely between waterings.
'Tolimanensis' does best in a gritty cactus and succulent mix with added perlite for fast drainage.
