    •   Echeveria 'Spotlight' is a succulent cultivar from the Echeveria genus in the Crassulaceae family, native to the mountainous regions of Mexico. There, wild Echeverias grow naturally in rocky, well-draining soils at high altitudes, which shapes how it grows indoors and outdoors.

        The leaves form perfect rosettes of thick, fleshy tissue, bright green with red tips that intensify under direct sunlight. Spoon-shaped and smooth with slightly pointed ends, the foliage reaches 4–6 inches across at maturity. The symmetrical structure and contrasting leaf colors make it a desk plant, shelf accent, or windowsill specimen.

        In spring and summer, tall flower spikes emerge bearing small bell-shaped blooms in coral-pink to orange hues, reaching 8–12 inches tall. The blooms create contrast against the colored foliage and appear reliably when the plant receives adequate light and warmth.

        This drought-tolerant succulent shows when it needs water through slight leaf wilting, making watering schedules straightforward. It grows equally well under office LEDs or in sunny windowsills. Move it outdoors for warmer months with protection from rain.
