  •   Echeveria 'Green Goddess' is a compact rosette-forming succulent in the Crassulaceae family, native to the semi-arid highlands of Mexico. It belongs to a genus known for symmetrical, tightly layered rosettes and a natural tolerance for dry conditions.

The leaves are broad, spoon-shaped, and a soft mint-green, arranged in a dense, symmetrical rosette. Leaf edges are slightly pointed and may flush with pale pink or cream tones in brighter light. The surface has a light powdery coating, a natural protective layer called farina, that gives the foliage a matte finish.

'Green Goddess' can produce slender arching stems topped with coral-pink to orange bell-shaped flowers, typically in late spring to early summer. A noticeable drop in nighttime temperatures encourages blooming. It offsets readily over time, gradually forming a small cluster of rosettes around the base of the mother plant.

Move it outside in summer to a spot with morning sun and afternoon shade. It needs cover from rain, as water pooling in the rosette can cause rot. Keep it away from air conditioning vents and heating units. 'Green Goddess' can stay outdoors into autumn as long as temperatures stay above freezing, and you can leave it up to ten days without water. This plant is pet friendly.

  •   Echeveria 'Green Goddess' grows well in bright indirect light to gentle direct morning sun.

Water it every 10-14 days in the growing season, letting the soil dry out completely between waterings.

'Green Goddess' does best in a fast-draining mix of cactus soil and perlite at roughly 50/50.

It prefers temperatures between 65°F and 80°F and should be kept above 40°F at all times.

'Green Goddess' is a slow grower; feed it with a diluted balanced fertilizer once a month in spring and summer.

It is hardy in USDA zones 9b through 11, tolerating brief dips down to around 25°F. It grows outdoors year-round in California, Arizona, Texas, Florida, and Hawaii. It also does well outdoors through the warmer months across zones 4 through 9b before being brought back inside before frost.
  • Q: How much light does Echeveria 'Green Goddess' need indoors?
A: An east-facing window works well, giving bright morning sun without the intensity of a south or west exposure. A south-facing window can scorch the leaves if the rosette sits too close to the glass.

Q: How do I know when it needs water?
A: Echeveria 'Green Goddess' will wilt slightly and the leaves may feel softer than usual when the soil has been dry too long. Check the top inch of soil and water only once it is fully dry.

Q: Is 'Green Goddess' safe for cats and dogs?
A: Yes, it is non-toxic and safe for cats and dogs.

Q: What happens if I overwater it?
A: 'Green Goddess' will develop mushy, translucent leaves at the base, and the stem may begin to rot at soil level. Always let the soil dry completely before watering again.

Q: How do I get 'Green Goddess' to bloom?
A: Moving it to a cooler spot at night, around 50°F to 55°F, in late winter encourages the plant to set flower stems as days lengthen in spring.

Q: Can this succulent be propagated at home?
A: 'Green Goddess' offsets naturally from the base, and those small rosettes can be gently separated and potted up once they have a few roots of their own. Individual leaves can also be laid on dry cactus mix to propagate, though offset division is faster and more reliable.

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
