Echeveria 'Fury' is a soft-toned, compact succulent with a calm, muted beauty. A newer hybrid within the Crassulaceae family, it traces its background to sun-loving Echeveria species native to Mexico. 'Fury' forms tidy, low-growing rosettes of fleshy, pointed leaves that blend blue-green, gray, and hints of red or violet, depending on light exposure. Its powdery leaf coating gives it a frosted, soft finish that adds to its understated charm rather than bold color contrasts.

The rosettes of Fury typically reach 6 to 8 inches wide, maintaining a compact, slightly upward-cupped form. In bright light, the leaf edges may develop soft red or pinkish tints, but the plant usually retains a muted, silvery appearance. The leaves are thick and covered in a fine layer of farina, protecting them from sun and moisture loss. Mature plants can occasionally produce delicate flower stalks with small, bell-shaped blooms, though Fury is mainly appreciated for its foliage.

Like many Echeverias, Fury prefers bright conditions to maintain its compact shape and subtle coloration. Unlike trailing or sprawling succulents, Echeverias grow close to the ground, forming tight rosettes that reflect their adaptation to dry, sunny environments. Their thick leaves store water efficiently, allowing them to thrive even with minimal watering.

Because of its soft coloring and symmetrical rosette, Echeveria 'Fury' fits naturally into mixed succulent displays or as a gentle centerpiece in containers. It pairs well with deeper-toned or textured succulents, providing a soft visual break. With minimal handling and careful watering, it can remain neat and attractive for many seasons.
Thrives in bright, direct or very bright indirect light. Good light maintains its compact form and encourages light reddish hues at the leaf edges.

Water thoroughly when the soil is completely dry, always allowing water to drain freely. During winter, reduce watering as growth slows.

Prefers low to moderate indoor humidity. Avoid excessive moisture around the leaves, which can promote fungal issues.:

Grows best between 65–80°F. Protect from frost, as freezing temperatures can permanently damage the leaves.

Needs a fast-draining cactus or succulent soil mix, with added perlite or coarse sand. Good drainage is essential for healthy roots.

Feed once or twice during the active growing season with a diluted, low-nitrogen fertilizer. Avoid heavy feeding, which can weaken its structure.

Echeveria 'Fury' is considered non-toxic to pets and humans. Still, it’s best to discourage pets from nibbling on succulents.

* We use 3.5-inch wide clay pots for our 4-inch succulent plant + clay pot option, and 3-inch modern pots for the 4-inch succulent plant + modern pot option.

Your plant will be carefully wrapped in a sturdy box. Most of the succulents will be shipped bare-root to ensure their safety. If you want to receive the plastic pot & soil, please leave a note in your order. When opening your package, some soil may be loose in the box. Plant orders are shipped within 3-5 days depending on the availability of the plant. We ship our plants Monday through Friday, all twelve months of the year! If you need your order urgently, please message us so we can upgrade your shipping (additional cost applied). We do not ship outside of the continental United States.

Provide porous soil with adequate drainage, pots with drainage hole are recommended. Bright, filtered light and ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Never let your succulents sit in water. Do NOT water on the leaves. If you water from beneath by letting the plant sit in a saucer of water, make sure to pour off any excess water after a few minutes. The hotter it is outside, the faster your soil will dry out, so you’ll need to water more often if you live in a hot area. Water with caution in winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended periods; protect from frost to prevent scarring.
