  •   Echeveria 'Cimette' is a rare blue-green succulent from the mountainous regions of Mexico. This compact rosette cultivar belongs to the Echeveria genus and has become popular among collectors for its cool-toned foliage and tight, symmetrical form.

The leaves are thick, spoon-shaped, and curve inward, forming rosettes that typically reach 3 to 4 inches across. It has blue-green leaves with silvery undertones that shimmer when lit brightly, and the leaf edges often shift to pink or purple when exposed to strong sun. The plant clusters slowly over time, building small colonies of compact rosettes.

Winter brings bell-shaped flowers on arching stems in coral-pink to orange tones. Cooler nighttime temperatures encourage blooming.

This succulent works as a desk or bedroom plant, growing under office LED lighting and tolerating dry heated air. You can leave it up to ten days without water. The plant is non-toxic and safe around cats and dogs. Move it outside in summer, though it needs protection from rain to prevent crown rot.

  •   Echeveria 'Cimette' grows well in bright indirect light but tolerates partial to full sun with gradual acclimation.

Water it deeply every 7 to 10 days during the growing season, allowing soil to dry completely between waterings.

'Cimette' requires well-draining cactus mix or standard potting soil amended with perlite and coarse sand.

It prefers temperatures between 65 and 80°F and tolerates brief drops to 40°F.

'Cimette' grows slowly and rarely needs fertilizing, requiring only diluted cactus fertilizer once monthly during spring.

It is hardy in USDA hardiness zones 9 through 11 and cannot tolerate frost below 32°F. It grows outdoors in Florida, California, Texas, Arizona, Hawaii, Louisiana, southern Georgia, coastal South Carolina, southern Nevada, coastal Oregon, southern Alabama, southern Mississippi, and parts of North Carolina. Gardeners in cooler climates can grow it as a houseplant or move containers indoors during winter.

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
