    •   Maranta Variegated 'Beauty Kim', also called Variegated Prayer Plant, is a rare tropical houseplant from the Marantaceae family, native to the rainforests of Brazil. It belongs to the same genus as Maranta leuconeura and carries the same nyctinasty behavior, folding its leaves upward at night and opening them again by morning.

        The leaves are oval and broad, patterned with irregular patches of cream, pale green, and deeper green across the surface, with each leaf marked differently from the next. Undersides carry a faint pink or burgundy-red tone, and the overall variegation shifts slightly depending on light levels. 'Beauty Kim' stays compact and low-growing, spreading outward rather than climbing.

        Flower information specific to this cultivar is limited, but like other marantas, it can produce small, pale lavender or white blooms on slender stems during warmer months. Beyond that, 'Beauty Kim' purifies indoor air and filters formaldehyde and other toxins from the environment. It releases oxygen at night, which sets it apart from many common houseplants.
