The leaves of 'White Stem' are broad and lance-shaped, patterned with deep green and soft silvery-white variegation across the surface. The stems are notably pale, almost white, which sets this variety apart from other aglaonemas. It forms an upright, compact clump that fills out well in a pot without sprawling.
Flower information for this cultivar is not widely documented, so what stands out most are its air-purifying qualities. It filters formaldehyde and other indoor toxins from the air, and the broad, variegated leaves do this work steadily as long as the plant is healthy. You can gently clean the leaves if needed, and wait to fertilize until it has settled in. Always check soil moisture instead of watering on a fixed schedule.
