    •   Philodendron 'White Knight' (Philodendron erubescens 'White Knight') is a rare variegated climbing philodendron native to the tropical rainforests of Colombia and South America. It belongs to the Araceae family and grows naturally in humid, dappled forest environments where it climbs toward the canopy using aerial roots.

        The foliage captures collectors' attention: large, heart-shaped leaves in deep forest green splashed with irregular white variegation that ranges from subtle streaks to bold half-moon patches. The stems are burgundy-purple, contrasting with the white and green leaves. No two leaves are identical.

        Philodendron White Knight puts all its energy into producing those variegated leaves rather than showy blooms. Like most philodendrons cultivated indoors, it rarely flowers in a home setting.

        It brings visual drama whether displayed as a floor plant with a moss pole, trained up a trellis, or allowed to trail from a hanging basket. It works equally well in bohemian and contemporary interiors. Rotate it regularly for even, balanced growth. During summer, move it outside in a sheltered spot, but keep it covered from heavy rain. The sap can cause skin and paw irritation, so place it on a high shelf well out of reach of pets and small children.
