  •   Echeveria Tippy Pink Succulent is a compact rosette-forming succulent in the Crassulaceae family, native to the semi-arid highlands of Mexico and Central America. These regions shaped the plant's drought tolerance and ability to grow in rocky, well-drained soils with abundant sunlight.

It forms neat, symmetrical rosettes with plump, spoon-shaped leaves in blue-green that transition to pink or red at the edges. The color intensifies with more direct light, creating that signature two-tone appearance. Over time, it develops a clustering habit, producing offsets that fill a pot with layered rosettes, typically reaching 3 to 5 inches across as a single head.

In late winter to spring, 'Tippy Pink' sends up slender arching stems topped with small bell-shaped coral-pink flowers. A drop in nighttime temperatures in autumn encourages blooming, so moving it to a cooler location can trigger a floral show. The blooms are unscented but add seasonal interest.

Rotate 'Tippy Pink' regularly for even rosette growth and bring it under cover when rain is expected to protect the leaves. It handles dry indoor air well and can move outside for summer to soak up natural sun. The plant is non-toxic, making it safe for homes with cats or dogs.

  •   Echeveria Tippy Pink Succulent grows well in bright indirect light, partial sun, or full sun, with the deepest pink color developing in direct sunlight.

Water it deeply every 10 to 14 days in summer, reducing to once every 3 to 4 weeks in winter, allowing soil to dry completely between waterings.

'Tippy Pink' does best in a fast-draining cactus and succulent mix blended with perlite or coarse sand at a 1:1 ratio.

It prefers temperatures between 60 and 80°F and should be protected from frost below 25°F.

'Tippy Pink' is a slow to moderate grower that benefits from diluted balanced fertilizer applied once in spring and once in early summer.

It is hardy in USDA zones 9 to 11, tolerating brief dips to around 25°F before frost damage occurs. It grows outdoors year-round in Florida, California, Texas, Arizona, Hawaii, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and coastal Nevada. It also grows in the Oregon coast, parts of coastal Washington, and sheltered microclimates in New Mexico and Arkansas.
  • Q: How often should I water Echeveria Tippy Pink Succulent?
A: During warm months, the soil should dry completely between waterings to prevent root rot. In winter, extend the interval significantly as growth slows.

Q: Is this plant safe for pets?
A: Echeveria Tippy Pink Succulent is non-toxic and safe for cats and dogs. It can also grow in an east-facing window, though the color shift may be less pronounced.

Q: How big does it get?
A: 'Tippy Pink' reaches 3 to 5 inches across as a single rosette, and the clustering habit means it fills wider pots over time with multiple offsets.

Q: How do I propagate 'Tippy Pink'?
A: Gently separate the small offsets at the base and pot them individually in well-draining succulent mix. Leaf propagation also works during the warm growing season.

Q: Can this succulent survive a 10-day vacation?
A: 'Tippy Pink' can go without water for about 10 days if thoroughly watered just before you leave and sits in well-draining soil.

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
